What is mulletover?

mulletover aren’t afraid to take risks, one of the few events that is perfectly in tune with their audience desires and with each party gathers momentum. They stand out and have won the heart of the London underground scene due to their unique approach at pushing fresh talent and forward-thinking sounds, each time on a new dance floor. mulletover maintains secret locations for each event, they have preserved their edge and are now the elite of the underground house and techno scene.

2009 marked their fifth anniversary, a journey that has seen crowds follow them on to boats, through forests, to disused garages, open fields and a lighthouse. They have hosted arenas at TDK Cross Central, Glade and Eastern Electrics festivals and been part of the Garden Festival in Croatia for the past 2 years. In Ibiza they regularly stage spontaneous and widely talked about parties across the island and spent a Summer taking over Space’s Discotec for the infamous We Love...

mulletover continue to push boundaries in terms of music, offering new local talent a chance to shine alongside their up and coming contemporaries from across the globe while still ensuring regular appearances from the scenes leading lights. Previous guests have included Tobi Neumann (Cocoon), Damian Lazarus (Crosstown Rebels), Anja Schneider (Mobilee), Ivan Smagghe (Blackstrobe), Zip (Perlon), Ewan Pearson, Dixon (Innervisions), Matthias Tanzmann (Moon Harbour), Lee Curtiss, Reboot, Meat (Cocoon), Bill Brewster, A Guy Called Gerald, DJ Pierre, Todd Terje, Noze, Alfredo. Their second rooms have been taken over by the likes of Resident Advisor, Phonica Records, We Love..Space, Disco Bloodbath, Horse Meat Disco, Future Boogie, Trailer Trash, Size Doesn’t Matter and Tayo’s Tracksuit Party.

Each party has been musically guided by the talent of the founder and only mulletover resident, Geddes, familiar for outstanding productions as part of Rekleiner, solo material and his own murmur records. His distinctive and dynamic taste brings warmth to the party and drive to the dancefloor. His partner Rob Star has built up a repertoire of successful events in the city such as Eastern Electrics and The Star of Bethnal Green pub and pours his heart into ensuring that each event runs smoothly. Together they guarantee each mulletover is better than the last.

mulletover work hard to bring in new faces and diverse music with an element of surprise. Their parties adopt varying themes to coincide with personal and public occasions including the infamous Halloween, January Sale and Anti-valentines parties.
The pace only looks set to accelerate with an increasing army of exciting talent keen to get on board to entertain and join in the novelty that have made mulletover the most anticipated part of every true music-lover’s month.
